This project is generally described as the construction of two new reinforced concrete parking lots to serve the MPEC which generally includes site demolition/preparation, removal/replacement of approximately 570 SY of asphalt pavement and the construction/installation of approximately 460 LF of curb & gutter, 15,440 SY of 6" concrete paving (9,860 SY-Base Bid & 5,580 SY Additive Bid), 800 SY of 6" reinforced concrete drive approach, 945 SY of 4" reinforced concrete sidewalk, pedestrian ramp/crossings, 16 RV Hookups (electrical and water), site lighting, irrigation, landscaping, and associated work. Contractors are strongly urged to attend and participate in the pre-bid conference at Memorial Auditorium, Room 500 at 2:00 PM on the 24th day of January, 2022. Representatives of the Owner and the Engineer will be present to discuss the project. Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference. The Engineer's Estimate of Probable Cost of Construction for this project is $2,062,635 (Base Bid and Additive).
