  2. Mystery Art Exhibition

    Mystery Art is an annual exhibit and auction of works by local and regional artists of all levels. Artwork is donated by the artist and their name is hidden and becomes a mystery. On the first day of the exhibit, the artwork is judged and awards are given. The artwork is displayed in the NorthLight Gallery for 3 weeks. Artwork is auctioned throughout the event with a Final Auction Night celebration Friday, October 22

    James Cook is drawing inspiration from evocative stories around the Red River, the Wichita Falls, TX native’s penchant for superb narrative lyrics and riveting vocals delivers an impactful punch for this rootsy collection of songs that blends folk-rock, country and Southern blues hues, with equal parts grit, sorrow and heart. With his band, Cook brings down the house with explosive shows at the hottest TX/OK bars and giant performances to include TX Festivals such as Outlaws and Legends Festival, Music Fest in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and Ranch Bash in Ft Worth, TX. The James Cook Band will be burning up the highway in 2021 and they are anxious to be back at it. With James Cook (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Tim Maloney (bass), Ricci Amador (drums), Ian Clark (keys), and Zach Holliday (lead guitar/steel guitar).
