Pre-development meetings are a great way to meet with staff to discuss to what may be required for development and/or permitting for your commercial or multi-family residential project. These meetings can be held virtually or in-person and include staff from all City departments that may be involved in the permitting/development of your project. These meetings are held weekly on Wednesdays and are free of charge.
Pre-development meetings are strongly encouraged prior to starting, purchasing and/or leasing a commercial property. If you decide you do not want to hold a pre-development meeting prior to submitting permits to the City, a signed waiver form will need to be provided with the submission of any permit application.
Following your pre-development meeting, staff will send you and your project team a detailed set of notes that include not only the information discussed in the meeting, but also links and information you may need during the process.
