The bells of Notre Dame sound through the famed cathedral in fifteenth-century Paris. Quasimodo, the deformed bell-ringer who longs to be "Out There," observes all of Paris reveling in the Feast of Fools. Held captive by his devious caretaker, the archdeacon Dom Claude Frollo, he escapes for the day and joins the boisterous crowd, only to be treated cruelly by all but the beautiful gypsy, Esmeralda. Quasimodo isn’t the only one captivated by her free spirit, though – the handsome Captain Phoebus and Frollo are equally enthralled. As the three vie for her attention, Frollo embarks on a mission to destroy the gypsies – and it’s up to Quasimodo to save them all.

The Museum is inviting non-profit organizations and local businesses to come and join in the festivities. Participate in this year’s parade and in our celebration. The event will be held Saturday, July 3rd, with the carnival opening as soon as the parade arrives at the Kell House (at approximately 9:30 a.m.) and running until noon. Each participating organization, group, or business may sign up to organize and operate one game or entertainment booth. You bring the game/entertainment supplies, set up your booth, provide the game prizes, determine the number of tickets required to play, man the booth, and break down and clean up your area after the celebration is over. All organizations are expected to stay and operate their booth until noon.
