The Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District Immunization Clinic offers routine vaccines for children and adults. Vaccines are also available for those traveling abroad. Travelers need to consider the need for vaccinations at least 2 to 4 weeks before traveling because most vaccines take at least 2 weeks to take full effect.

The Museum of Art at MSU Texas has acquired artwork through generous donations and well-planned purchases resulting in a remarkable Permanent Collection of American Art. “Highlights from the Decades” explores how the WFMA collected through the decades to create a rich educational resource for MSU Texas and the surrounding North Texas communities. With the flip of a switch, more than 60,000 lights on more than 200 lighted displays will glitter and sparkle, bringing the sights and sounds of the season to adults and children. ElectriCritters will be open every Friday and Saturday from 6:30-8:30 PM, starting November 24th, 2023 to December 23rd, 2023.

ElectriCritters is a fundraiser for River Bend Nature Center and directly supports River Bend’s hands-on natural science education and outreach programs for children and adults! River Bend is stroller and wheelchair accessible. River Bend is located at 2200 3rd St. near the main entrance to Lucy Park.

The 31st Annual City Lights Festival and Parade makes its way to Downtown Wichita Falls on Saturday, December 16. This year's theme is Dr. Seuss!
•Parade starts at 7pm at Travis and 8th Street, will go down 8th Street to Ohio, Ohio to 9th, and up 9th to First Baptist Church. The parade is limited to 100 entries, only 30 spots for decorated vehicles and prizes for best float! Prizes for best float: 1st - $500, 2nd - $300, 3rd - $150! Register here: https://bit.ly/48m3lAG
•Santa Land - Whoville takes over Park Central at 8th and Scott. Santa will be there from 4 pm - 6:30 pm for last-minute Christmas wishes, and there will be games in the park from 4 pm - 7 pm.
•Mt. Crumpit Market at the Downtown Wichita Falls Farmers Market will be open from 4 pm - 9 pm for holiday shopping, hot cocoa, s'more station, and food trucks.
