The City of Wichita Falls will begin embarking on a mission to improve the quality of life for declining neighborhoods through efforts to revitalize the community. These efforts will be a collaboration between the people and organization of the community along with the City to create an environment where people and businesses can flourish. The first community selected is the Floral Heights, Highland Addition, and Southland Addition neighborhoods around the “Old High” area that will be known as the Central Wichita Falls Revitalization Area. Staff will be working diligently to engage community members to shape the programs to meet the needs and aspirations of the neighborhood.
