Wichita Falls Animal Services responds to animal-related complaints to help ensure the safety, health, and well-being of both residents and animals within the city. Common concerns include stray or aggressive animals, excessive barking, suspected neglect or abuse, loose livestock, and violations of city animal ordinances. For emergencies after hours—such as animal bites, loose livestock, or wildlife in homes—the same number can be used to reach the on-call Animal Control Dispatch. For a list of complaints that will and will not be responded to after hours, click the tabs below.
All complaints are investigated in accordance with Wichita Falls city ordinances and Texas state law.
