The Environmental Health Division of the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District inspects lodging establishments regularly throughout the year. Health inspectors ensure that all lodging establishments have been inspected within 2 months of the event; however, it is not possible to check every room of every lodging establishment during a single inspection. For a general list of lodging establishments in the area click here. It is recommended that guests check reviews online and choose a lodging establishment that would best meet their needs. In addition, the Health District does NOT inspect Airbnb and Airbnb type of establishments and does not have jurisdiction regarding complaints for those types of establishments.
