Holiday Trash Schedule

  The City does not pick up trash on the following holidays: 

•  New Years Day 
• Martin Luther King Day
•  President's Day
•  Memorial Day 
•  Fourth of July 
•  Labor Day 
•  Thanksgiving (Thursday & Friday)
•  Christmas Eve 
•  Christmas Day

The Transfer Station and Landfill will be closed on the day of each holiday, and during the week of each holiday, there is no Wednesday Organic Recycling Pickup.

Other Holidays

Trash schedules remain the same during all other FEDERALLY RECOGNIZED holidays, Martin Luther King Day, Columbus Day, and Veterans Day. 

Labor Day
Monday, September 2, 2024
Monday routes will be shifted to Tuesday, and Tuesday routes will be shifted to Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will remain on the normal schedule. There is no organics collection on Wednesday, Sep 4th. 

Thanksgiving
Thursday & Friday, November  28-29, 2024
There will be no trash pickup on Thursday or Friday of this week.  Monday and Tuesday will remain on the normal schedule.  Thursday is shifted up to Wednesday, and Friday will be shifted to Saturday.  There will be no curbside organics recycling pick up on Wednesday, November 27th.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
Tuesday, December 24, 2024, and Wednesday, December 25, 2024 
City offices will be closed on Tuesday, December 24th and Wednesday, December 25th.  Residential  trash service will remain as normally scheduled.  There will be no curbside organics recycling pick up on Wednesday, December 25th.  

New Year's Day
Wednesday, January 1, 2025 
City offices will be closed on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, for the New Year's Day holiday.  There will be no curbside organics recycling pickup on Wednesday, January 1st.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Monday, January 20th, 2025
Monday routes will be shifted to Tuesday, and Tuesday routes will be shifted to Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will remain on the normal schedule. There will be no organics collection on Wednesday, February 19th.

Washington's Birthday (President's Day)
Monday, February 17, 2025
Monday routes will be shifted to Tuesday, and Tuesday routes will be shifted to Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will remain on the normal schedule. There will be no organics collection on Wednesday, January 22nd.

Memorial Day
Monday, May 26, 2024
Monday routes will be shifted to Tuesday, and Tuesday routes will be shifted to Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will remain on the normal schedule. There is no organics collection on Wednesday, May 28th.

Independence Day - 4th of July
Friday, July 4, 2025
Monday and Tuesday collection service will remain as normally scheduled.  Thursdays route will be shifted to Wednesday, July 2nd, and Friday routes will be shifted to Thursday, July 3rd.  There will be no curbside organics recycling pick up on Wednesday, July 2nd.
